We’re honored to share that Neoclease was awarded first place in the Collective Intelligence Startup Competition at FEI25 – Front End of Innovation, earning the top prize of $25,000 to accelerate the development of our first gene-editing candidate targeting Parkinson’s disease.

This recognition reflects the power of our AI-driven platform to design gene-specific nucleases with enhanced precision and safety, ushering in a new era
of targeted genomic medicine. The prize funding will directly support early development and validation of our lead therapeutic program focused on the LRRK2 gene, a well-established driver of Parkinson’s.
We’re deeply grateful to the FEI community and would like to recognize:
● Seth Adler for curating a truly visionary gathering and championing early-stage biotech innovation
● The judging panel, whose thoughtful questions created space for each finalist to go deeper into their science
● The generous sponsors and partners, including J.P. Morgan, Google, Microsoft, Nokia, Cornell Tech, Techstars, C10 Labs, CIC, and others, for empowering startups and making this competition possible
● The brilliant founders and teams who pitched alongside our CEO, Chelsea Trengrove, Ph.D., your work continues to inspire and energize us Winning this award strengthens our belief in the future of collective intelligence, synthetic biology, and precision gene editing. We're excited to continue building momentum with the FEI25 network and beyond.
